Who we are

On the Right: Teddy McCullough Founder of The D.R.E.A.M Team.

I wanted to create The D.R.E.A.M Team to help make our community a better place and to show my peers the harms of alcohol and drug use, as well as showing them healthy alternatives.

HISTORY         LESSON

In 2009, The D.R.E.A.M. Team became an official club. Founders: Alex Cook and Teddy McCullough created the D.R.E.A.M. Team club to better our community and themselves. They got two members Hannah Hobi and Patience Taylor. Patience Taylor came up with the name D.R.E.A.M. Team because we have a dream to educate and help prevent our fellow classmates from abusing substances. Teddy McCullough made dream into a acronym. D.R.E.A.M. stands for Drug Related Education Awareness Mentors. Hannah Hobi and Patience Taylor made the club team colors which are silver and blue.

These four kids made a club to educate and help prevent substance abuse.

"I joined D.R.E.A.M. Team when I was in 8th grade. I joined because all my friends were getting into drugs and alcohol and I wanted to learn more about the affects of drugs and alcohol. I also wanted friends that didn't do drugs and drink alcohol. I find it interesting and fun. The Breakfast meetings are so good!"

"I joined the D.R.E.A.M. Team to show my friends that there is a way out of peer pressure, drinking, and doing drugs. If they had a friend that didn't do it then maybe they would stop."
